“I want to protect the people that I care for, I want to protect the people that I work with.”

“I think we witnessed things this year that we thought we would never see. The pandemic has completely changed our lives in so many ways. We've learned how to disconnect and reconnect all at the same time. We’ve learned that solitude can be the most comforting, while finding creative ways to express our love through the virtual world.

The decision to become vaccinated was driven by the people I care for and work alongside. With 200 residents and over 200 staff, the decision was simple. We spend about a third of our life at work, which means this is where my heart is for a majority of the day. I want to protect the people that I care for, I want to protect the people that I work with. They're like a second family to me.

The other half of my heart is with my immediate family. The opportunity to be vaccinated will reopen my small world soon. To hug and kiss them. To celebrate and see them laugh. Sure, these are simple pleasures, but it means the world.

The work we do is so important. The way we care for our family is important. So why not vaccinate?”

Why vaccinate? We all have our reasons.

Get registered so we can get back to the things we love soon.
