High Fives - Week of November 12, 2021

For Abbotsford Primary Care Access Clinic

Leanne at the Abbotsford Primary Care Access Clinic is one of the best health care professionals I have ever seen. She is so caring, personable and incredibly patient. She is truly an amazing health care worker. The level of care and knowledge she gives to her patients is amazing.

For Abbotsford Regional Hospital

I was admitted into the Emergency Trauma unit. I am so grateful for the excellent care and treatment by the staff, especially nurse Megan (I wish I could remember all the names of my nurses, doctors, porters and technicians). I also want to say a huge thanks to all those in zone one for the amazing care and treatment I was given.

For Burnaby Hospital

There are no words that can describe how I feel about the staff I encountered at Burnaby Hospital. The nurses are all angels. The staff are very dedicated to their patients, and did everything they could to make me and the other patients feel comfortable. They never seemed to slow down in their efforts for us. Thank you.

For Eagle Ridge Hospital

My father-in-law is 88 years old and contracted COVID-19. He was on the COVID-19 ward of Eagle Ridge Hospital. He asked me to write a letter offering heartfelt thanks to the health care workers who cared for him as well as to all the staff of the hospital who continue to work diligently during these times. Much appreciated.

For Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre

I had a scary and unpleasant procedure, which was made so much easier due to the kindness and professionalism of all who were involved in my care. My heartfelt thanks to all the health care workers for everything they do for patients under their care.

For Langley Memorial Hospital

My nurse in the Emergency Department was outstanding. She handled a lot of patients and it never bothered her. I was moved to the fourth floor and the head nurse there was fantastic too; always calm and very helpful.

For Royal Columbian Hospital

I was in the Emergency Department after being injured in a car accident. The place was packed, but despite the crowded conditions, I received optimal care from the dedicated and hardworking staff right from the check-in to the final release. Dr. Wong took the time to explain clearly the results of the tests they ran. The nurses and radiologists were caring and kind.
