This week's high fives go to our amazing people at Burnaby Hospital, Burnaby COVID-19 Testing and Immunization Centre, Eagle Ridge Hospital, Fraser Health Crisis Line, and Royal Columbian Hospital.

For Burnaby Hospital

I want to thank Dr. Gupta for his help today when I was in the [Burnaby Hospital] Emergency Department. He was kind and had a wonderful bedside manner. I felt very safe under his care. He took his time listening to my concerns and explaining the diagnosis. I am very grateful for his help.

For Burnaby Hospital

I have nothing but praise for the [Burnaby Hospital] staff during my procedure. They are so busy and so competent, caring, empathetic and understanding. They always took the time to make me feel comfortable, checking with me frequently to see that I'm okay. I couldn't ask for a more amazing experience with the entire staff, starting from the entrance to the hospital and onward. Thank you.

For Burnaby COVID-19 Testing and Immunization Centre

I want to thank all the staff [at the Burnaby COVID-19 Testing and Immunization Centre] for their friendly, professional manner in providing services.

For Eagle Ridge Hospital

I had a procedure at Eagle Ridge Hospital and the imaging technician, Robyn, was excellent. She had lots of patience, understanding and compassion and she knew what she is doing. She made me feel like I am somebody important. Thank you, Robyn.

For the Fraser Health Crisis Line

I called the Fraser Health Crisis Line and I was lucky to reach Mandeep as an operator. I was so relieved that he was patient, compassionate and truly heard what my concerns were. Thank you Fraser Health for hiring him. Thank you, Mandeep. I felt validated.

For Royal Columbian Hospital

My mom had day-surgery [at Royal Columbian Hospital] and I'd just like to give a shout out to all the staff we encountered, especially the parking lot attendant in the Mental Health and Substance Use Wellness Centre, and the attendant that was doing COVID-19 screening on the main floor. I arrived with my very frail mom and both of these gentlemen went above and beyond to help get her to the appointment.
