For Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre
My husband was brought to the Emergency Department at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre by ambulance after a fall at home. The first responders were wonderful — they stayed with him until he was admitted. The emergency staff were incredibly kind and caring. We received care promptly, and within an hour, he had an X-ray and a diagnosis. He had sustained a fracture and required surgery. He was then transferred to the surgical unit, where the staff have continued to provide compassionate care.
For Burnaby Hospital
My husband had a health scare, so we went to the Emergency Department at Burnaby Hospital. Within a short wait, he had been triaged, had blood work done and was seen by both a nurse and a physician. He was then discharged without issue. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent, efficient and helpful care.
For Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible Day Surgery team at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre who cared for me. While I can’t recall the names of my nurses, I will never forget how amazing they were. They made me feel completely at ease throughout my procedure—keeping me comfortable, answering all my questions with patience and even bringing a smile to my face along the way.
For Royal Columbian Hospital
A heartfelt thank you to Nahed in the Breast Imaging Department at Royal Columbian Hospital. I met her during my first breast biopsy, and she was also there for my second. This kind, compassionate and highly skilled professional turned a frightening experience into one that was manageable. Her steady, gentle approach and reassuring words made all the difference—between fainting and staying calm, between leaving hopeful and leaving overwhelmed with fear. I'm so grateful for her care.
For Surrey Memorial Hospital
I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the pediatric emergency team at Surrey Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to my daughter. We came in because she was having difficulty breathing, and from the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered was kind, compassionate and attentive. I was especially impressed by how efficient and organized everything was, even with how busy the department appeared to be. Thank you.
