For Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre

For Burnaby Hospital
Had a CT scan at Burnaby Hospital. The staff were so helpful for this deaf patient - I was really impressed with the whole process, from check-in to having the exam done. What an efficient team. Kudos.
For Delta Hospital
I arrived at Delta Hospital's Emergency Department with excruciating pain. Every interaction I had was very pleasant and empathetic. Thanks to my care team, I was pain free and sent home with a referral, prescriptions and the results of my CT scan. It was my best hospital experience in my 60 years. Thanks.
For Surrey Memorial Hospital
I suddenly became incredibly unwell and was admitted to Surrey Memorial Hospital in the Emergency Department. I felt so sick and vulnerable. Then Nurse Paige arrived in bright pink scrubs and greeted me with, “Hi friend, I’m Paige and I’ll be looking after you.” From that moment, everything changed. Despite feeling absolutely awful, the next 12 hours were filled with laughter, calm and such deeply attentive care that I truly felt like I was receiving VIP treatment. Paige has a rare gift. She was clearly made to be a nurse, and her genuine love for what she does shines through in every interaction. She didn’t just look after my medical needs, she saw me, comforted me and made me feel safe during one of my hardest moments. I almost miss that moment because of how special and human Paige made that experience feel.
