For Burnaby Hospital
I recently visited the Burnaby Hospital Emergency Department and would like to thank all the staff who assisted me during my visit. I’d especially like to thank Nurse Ahmad and the ER doctor, who were both incredibly kind and compassionate. When you’re in pain and don’t fully understand what’s happening, especially without any medical knowledge, it can be very daunting. Their care and kindness made a difficult experience much more manageable. Thank you to everyone involved.
For the Chilliwack Mental Health and Substance Use Centre
I’m deeply grateful to Lia from the Chilliwack Mental Health and Substance Use Centre, who supported me as I sought detox help for my partner. Her calm and compassionate guidance helped me feel less alone during a very difficult time. She encouraged me to prioritize the Rapid Access to Addiction Care Clinic for my partner and reminded me that support is available for me, as well. Lia, thank you for your empathy and clarity. You helped me take the next step with courage.
For Royal Columbian Hospital
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Khan and his angiogram team in the operating room at Royal Columbian Hospital for the wonderful care I received. Their exceptional skills and warm manner made my angiogram experience feel far more pleasant and reassuring. I would also like to thank the preparation nurses, Michelle, Susanne and Shelly, who took such great care of me. Because of them, it was not stressful or nerve-wracking but instead positive and even enjoyable.
For Surrey-Newton Urgent and Primary Care Centre
The staff, doctors, and nurse practitioners at Surrey–Newton Urgent and Primary Care Centre have always been there to support our family. They are extremely competent, caring and knowledgeable. The nurse practitioners and doctors take the time to explain things clearly and thoughtfully answer my questions. I highly recommend this service.
