(Photo credit: Province of B.C.) In Agassiz, Fraser Health provides its services within the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Stó:lō (staw-low) people, particularly the Xwchíyò:m (Cheam) [chee-am], Seabird Island and Sts’ailes (sta-ay-liss) First Nations.
Fraser Health is responsible for providing quality health care services to the people of Agassiz. This includes long term care and assisted living, public health, home health, mental health and substance use support, along with specialized programs for children, women and Aboriginal people.
