We know many of you are ordering vaccines and not receiving your full request. Our health units are working to distribute all of our available vaccines to you.

We know you are facing unprecedented demand for flu vaccine from clients and patients this year. Here is an update on the number of vaccines we have distributed to the community vaccine providers, and what to expect for the rest of the season:

As of October 26, 2020, Public Health has distributed nearly as many vaccines to physicians and pharmacists as we distributed in the entire flu season in 2019/20:

We will be receiving a small shipment of vaccine next week and another the week after, and have requested additional doses from the BCCDC that should be available mid-November and December.

Please do not book clients/patients into clinics until you have your vaccine supply confirmed. Thank you for your patience as we await the arrival of more vaccines. We will distribute them as soon as we have them.
