SexandU.ca is an evidence-based sexual and reproductive health website, offering information on topics like puberty, contraception, STIs and relationships. It serves as a resource for teens, parents, educators and health care providers. 

Bullying (erase) 
Erase (Expect Respect and a Safe Education) is a provincial initiative that offers training, resources and tools—like anonymous reporting—to help students, educators and families address a variety of topics such as bullying, mental health, online safety and more.

Different types of bullying (Teaching Sexual Health)
This resource discusses what bullying is, how to spot signs that your child is being bullied or is the aggressor and how to support children and youth experiencing bullying.

Bullying and B.C. law (PrevNet)
Created for educators and caregivers, this resource provides information and fact sheets on bullying, and the laws in British Columbia.

Body autonomy and personal safety (Kids in the Know)
Kids in the Know is the Canadian Centre for Child Protection’s national safety education program. The program engages students with interactive activities to help build skills that increase their personal safety and reduce their risk of  abuse or exploitation.

This provincial resource provides information about what sexual orientation is and provides adult and youth sexual health education.

This provincial resource provides information about what gender identity is to support adult and youth sexual health education.

Gender identity peer support (Trans Care BC) 
Trans Care BC offers a province-wide directory of peer support groups for trans, non-binary and Two-Spirit individuals, as well as their families and caregivers. These groups provide emotional support, resources and connection with both online and in-person options.

SOGI 123
SOGI 123 connects educators to proven tools and resources, supporting people of all sexual orientations and gender identities (SOGI).

BC Teachers’ Federation resources
The BCTF provides a variety of professional development resources and lesson plans for educators that support comprehensive sexual health education and inclusive classrooms. 

Addressing Sexual Orientation in Sexual Health Education Toolkit (Sex Information & Education Council of Canada)
This toolkit includes guides on how integrate sexual orientation into sexual health education and how to answer questions on this topic. It also includes three fact sheets that educators can share with youth and caregivers.
