For Eagle Ridge Hospital and the Port Coquitlam Urgent and Primary Care Centre
I took my daughter to the Port Coquitlam Urgent and Primary Care Centre. I wanted to thank the staff for being kind and we were seen quickly. I appreciate the care and attention Nurse Practitioner Josh gave. He was thorough with his assessment and referred us onwards for further investigation. Josh took the time to call and provide results even though they were normal and checked in to see how my daughter was doing later in the day. I felt my daughter and I were heard and cared for. As a Port Coquitlam resident, I am very grateful to have a clinic closer to home.
I also wanted to thank the Eagle Ridge Hospital Medical Imaging staff who squeezed my daughter in last minute. The clerk staff were kind and compassionate, in particular Karen, who checked us in. The ultrasound tech was also caring and compassionate.
For Peace Arch Hospital
The entire team at the Peace Arch Hospital Maternity Ward and Clinic are nothing short of extraordinary. I gave birth to my first child, and being someone who is very afraid of anything medical, I’m shocked I can say that. From my regular visits to the delivery itself, every team member was amazing. I feel so lucky that I was able to have this group get me through this and want to say thank you.
For Royal Columbian Hospital
I wanted to take the time to write to you in order to recognize the truly excellent, professional and kind treatment that I received during my stay at Royal Columbian Hospital. Your staff truly went above and beyond on multiple occasions. This is a testament to how resilient, well trained and educated they all are.
I'd like to call special attention to the medical professionals, care aides and anyone working in the Neurology wing (4 North), who took amazing care of me in what was a very difficult time for me.
I would be remiss if I did not also thank Dr. Heran and his surgical team who performed my surgery, which I understood to be a very complicated and delicate procedure. His calm demeanor and excellent bedside manner made me very comfortable with what was really scary news.
I don't want to leave out the staff in the Emergency Department who cared for me when I first arrived. They are the everyday heroes. They keep going and work so hard to stay positive and make sure patients stay informed.
Lastly, I also think it’s important to thank the food and nutrition team. During my stay here the food was something that I looked forward to.
I always felt supported and well cared for. Please accept my sincere gratitude for the superb level of care that I received. Fraser Health, Royal Columbian Hospital and all the everyday heroes working there will forever be near and dear to my heart.
For Surrey Memorial Hospital
I just want to give a shout out and say thank you to the amazing nurses who took great care of me while I was recovering from my surgery at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Particularly Kristin, Sonia and Jenna. They all really helped me get through a rough few days. I’m very appreciative of all the kind, caring and hard work.
