MEDITECH Expanse replaces the outdated MEDITECH Client Server, supported by companion projects like Front-End Speech Recognition (Fluency Direct), Automated Dispensing Cabinets (Omnicell), Roaming Desktop (Thin Client, Tap & Go) and Medication Reconciliation with Pharmanet. This holistic approach drives essential clinical and digital transformations.
A significant leap occurred recently as the Advance Program went live at Mission Memorial Hospital and Fraser Canyon Hospital, joining Eagle Ridge Hospital as MEDITECH Expanse sites. The devoted staff at all three locations worked tirelessly for six months to make this transition possible. Both sites working together accomplished a big win in high acuity areas.
