The nursing department at AgeCare Harmony Court provides professional care designed to meet the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of our residents on a 24-hour basis. Our care teams work in coordination with the other professionals within the centre, such as; recreation, dietitian consultant service, food services and others to meet the needs of our residents. This coordination of care and services creates an individual care plan for each resident.
Upon admission at AgeCare Harmony Court, a resident may continue to use their own physician or have the option to use a physician selected for them.

We provide each resident with three nourishing meals a day, as well as snack and refreshments each morning, afternoon and evening. Upon admission, and at regular intervals throughout the year, each resident is assessed by a Registered Dietitian for special dietary needs. Family are always welcome to join their loved one during meal time and may purchase a meal ticket from the Registered Nurse on duty. Private dining for special occasions can be arranged and served in our family room.
There are 80 publicly subsidized long term care beds at Harmony Court. Thirty-two (32) are single occupancy rooms and 24 are double occupancy rooms.

Room features and personalization | Daily room cleaning, plus laundry service of personal clothing and bedding. Rooms with attached bathrooms, built in closets. Side tables, dressers and special fire retardant drapes are provided. Rooms with both Carpeting and laminate flooring. Care center is fully furnished however residents may bring small TV, radio or decorations to personalize their suites. Dementia Care Neighborhood (ACMD) residents are to furnish rooms themselves. Memory boxes are located outside each room. |

Additional site features | With the opening of the Rosewood Neighbourhood at AgeCare Harmony Court in 2011, we offer dementia care designed for medically stable, independently mobile seniors with dementia (including Alzheimer’s) for Fraser Health in a safe, secure, home-like setting. |

Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
Fees
