Provides medically supervised/monitored withdrawal management services.

Withdrawal management services provide short-term medical supervision and support to individuals who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms associated with their discontinued use of alcohol/other drugs. Medically supervised withdrawal management is important, as there are some serious health risks for people coming off alcohol/other drugs. Once a person has completed withdrawal, they can enter a treatment program.

Riverstone home/mobile detox/daytox program provides withdrawal management services in client’s homes or other preferred location, patient care facilities or other supported environments. Care team may refer clients to beds in other facilities if no other safe and supportive environment is available to the client.

  • Medical and nursing care
  • Counselling
  • Preparation for treatment programs
  • Referrals and service navigation support for social and health services
