Dr. John LeMaitre specializes in heart rhythm management, including the implant of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices and also cardiac ablation procedures for conditions.
Dr. LeMaitre graduated from University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 1997 and completed medical and specialty cardiology training in the UK before moving to the University of Alberta in 2008 and then to the Royal Columbian Hospital in 2010.
He is actively involved in international heart rhythm research studies. He is also a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of British Columbia.
