Dr. Tycho Vuurmans is an interventional and general cardiologist at Royal Columbian Hospital.
Dr. Vuurmans is an expert in coronary artery disease, angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement. He specializes in the treatment of myocardial infarction and complex percutaneous revascularization procedures of the coronary arteries through the radial (forearm) artery access.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vuurmans is active in research. He completed a PhD in medicine and has won awards for his noticeable work in research in treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Vuurmans is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of British Columbia.
