Going Home Checklist
How do you switch off from the workday’s events? This Going Home Checklist highlights simple steps to support you in deliberately transitioning from the demands of work to going home to rest and recharge. Posters and lanyard cards of the Checklist are being distributed throughout the region. Please be sure to pause at the end of every shift and walk through the Checklist in support of your well-being.
Take a moment to think about today.
- Acknowledge one thing that was difficult on your shift.
- Consider three things that went well today.
- Be proud of the care you gave today.
- Check-in with your colleagues before you leave – how are they doing?
- I will switch my attention to home – to rest and recharge.

Accessing emotional support for teams
Immediate emotional support is available (both in-person and virtually) from our Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM) for employees and medical staff who are experiencing significant workplace stress and anxiety.
We also have client partners working with leaders at all sites to identify teams needing emotional first aid support. Please let your leader know if you or your team needs emotional support.

Digital mental health program to manage COVID-19 stress and anxiety
Starling’s 100% confidential digital mental health program is designed to help you manage stress, anxiety, and worry during the COVID-19 crisis. Registration is free for all Fraser Health employees, medical staff, and their families. This program helps people:

- Learn about strategies and tools to manage anxiety and worrisome thoughts as a result of COVID-19
