Well-being is the holistic state of physical and psychological health. 

  • Physical health is the ability to maintain a healthy quality of life, getting most out of daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress.
  • Psychological health is the ability cope with life's stresses, realize abilities, learn well, work well, and contribute to the community. 

Every individual’s journey to achieve and maintain well-being is different and varies over their life.  Like a wheel, the elements of life work best in balance.

    Many Fraser Health sites offer on-site gyms or fitness groups for employees and physicians. Ask your team leader, site administration or site wellness committee about potential offers at your location. Below is a list of sites that offer gyms. Contact us to have your site added to this list.

It is a digital cognitive behavioural therapy program designed to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

    Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre – mental health support for kids and their families
    The BC Children’s Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre provides free mental health and substance use information and resources, and offers assistance with mental health system navigation and peer support to children, youth and their families across British Columbia.     Here to Help BC offers trusted information about mental well-being, mental illness and substance use as well as screening self-tests that allow you to look at and explore strategies to manage your mental health.
