Forensic nurse examiners are specially trained registered nurses who provide care to people who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence and/or other forms of intentional interpersonal violence.

Join us for a celebration of our 20th year anniversary, and learn more about forensic nursing at ARHCC!

There will be resources, educational material and hands-on stations, as well as forensic nurses available to answer questions.

Hands-on stations include:

  • How to collect a swab for DNA testing
  • Documenting a wound
  • Fluorescence - what it is and why it is significant.
