To enrich the lives of our elders. To provide care and services to seniors in a home-like, residential environment in a manner that:

  • Nurtures the spirit, protects privacy
  • Fosters individuality, personalizes services
  • Enables freedom of choice
  • Encourages independence
  • Preserves dignity and involves family and friends

Type of accommodation

Total beds:  88; 64 publicly subsidized residential care beds; 23-bed special care unit.  All rooms are private with self-contained two-piece ensuite.

Basics include bed, dresser, bedside table and chair. Residents are welcome to bring in their own dresser and favourite chair. Consideration must be given to the size of the room and amount of equipment the resident will use (e.g., walker/wheelchair). All towels, linens and comforters are provided.

You may also bring pictures for the walls, plants and non-precious items. Residents are welcome to bring in their own comforter if family agrees to clean it when necessary.

Items to bring include personal clothing, however, limited space is available; we request the resident and family bring in only those clothes the resident would wear on a daily basis. Personal hygiene items; however, bath salts and oils are not allowed in our tubs. Money for comforts.

Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation.
