Project reaches construction milestone
Patients and families across Fraser Health are another step closer to receiving care at the new Jim Pattison Acute Care Tower, as the project reached a major milestone: substantial completion. With construction now mostly complete, we can begin the many activities required to prepare the building and our teams for the first patients in early 2026. Transforming care for newborns

Road work update
The new sidewalks and bike lanes on East Columbia Street are now complete. The widening of the Brunette Avenue and Sherbrooke Street intersection to allow large trucks to use this route for hospital deliveries is still in progress. Construction is expected to last until early September 2025. Please avoid this intersection and obey traffic control personnel for your safety. Read the construction notice here.
