“I am so proud to work with the amazing individuals who are now working in their remote offices, yet staying connected to support the clinicians, clients and patients of Fraser Health.”

"I am a manager in Health Informatics working with a dedicated and agile team of individuals who support computer applications for Primary and Community Care, Allied Health and Redevelopment.  During the COVID-19 crisis, this team quickly transitioned from working together in an office environment to working remotely with no interruption to application and project support.

Together this team has ensured that:

  • Urgent and Primary Care Centres have opened on time with the technology and training required
  • Screeners deployed to acute and community sites had the technology required to collect and report on the health status of people entering the building
  • Community health care workers were provided the ability to do a self health check prior to leaving home before each shift
  • Technology and application testing was completed in the new Royal Columbian Hospital Mental Health and Substance Use Wellness Centre
  • Rehabilitation services were provided the technology required to provide virtual rehab

I am so proud to work with the amazing individuals who are now working in their remote offices, yet staying connected to support the clinicians, clients and patients of Fraser Health."
