Materiel Management has centralized inventory locations and consolidated purchase volumes through a standardized process. This process, conducted with the assistance of the Clinical Supplies and Equipment Co-ordinators, ensures receiving "best value" because we are able to assess the "in use cost" of supplies and services. During this integration of health care delivery areas, Fraser Health considers any price offered in one of its facilities as a standing offer to the Authority (FH). Fraser Health reserves the right to move its purchases to the most favourably priced product existing in any of the former regions unless contract language specifically prohibits this action. |
