Czorny Alzheimer Centre

Volunteers are treasured partners at Czorny. The opportunities to engage in community living with our residents, the team and the families are limitless. Volunteers can be found throughout our cottage community and their gifts of time and personal commitment are deeply appreciated.

Please note some areas may not have vacancies in the program. We will make every effort to match you with the volunteer opportunity that meets your interests and abilities.

Requirements

• Screening and placement includes application, interview, references, orientation and training. 
• A criminal record search may be required. 
• Placement is based on your skills, abilities, interests and the availability of a suitable placement. Only those considered for placement will be contacted for an interview. If you are not selected for placement, your application will be kept on file for six months and reviewed regularly.
• Proficiency in English
• Minimum Age: 16 years 
• Minimum Commitment: 75 hours or 6 months
