Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Clinic
Abbotsford Regional Hospital, opened Aug 24, 2008, is a 'green' facility promoting healing for patients and has state-of-the-art technology for the teams of health care providers offering new and expanded services to 330,000 residents in the Eastern Fraser Valley. ARH has a large force of Community Hospital Volunteers & Auxiliary Volunteers who support the delivery of quality health care and are highly valued members of the health care team.
Burnaby Hospital
Burnaby Hospital serves the communities of Burnaby and East Vancouver. With 309 acute care beds, patient care services include general surgery, medicine, perinatal, neonatal ICU, critical care and emergency services. A new MRI department also opened in April 2009, providing patients with state-of-the-art diagnostic testing, and designed to maximize patient comfort.
CareLife Fleetwood Residential Services
CareLife Fleetwood is a new residential care facility designed to provide residents with a home-like environment where their right to choice and dignity is respected and accommodated by a committed team of staff, families and volunteers.
Chilliwack Health Services
Our mission at Chilliwack Health Services is to provide a healing environment and care for all those who enter our doors. As active members of our care team, volunteers enhance the programs and services provided to patients and residents of Chilliwack Health Services. A meaningful link with our community, volunteers have the opportunity to gain as much as they give. Volunteers are a work of heart!
Czorny Alzheimer Centre
Czorny Alzheimer Centre, which opened in 2007, is a purpose built residential care centre that provides residents with Alzheimer Disease a home environment in which to continue to live and thrive. Czorny Centre embraces the Eden philosophy and promotes person-centered care that honours choice, dignity and respect. It is a home that provides skilled and loving care for individuals with memory loss.
Delta Hospital and Auxiliary
Delta Hospital provides acute and residential health care services to the distinct communities of Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta, with a population of approximately 104,000. Working closely with the Delta Hospital Auxiliary, funds have been raised for the recent expansion of the Emergency Department, along with lobby renovations and the acquisition of a CT Scan to enhance the quality of patient care.
Eagle Ridge Hospital & Health Care Centre
Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) is a community hospital in Port Moody in the Tri-Cities area. The second fastest growing community in the lower mainland. Since opening its doors in 1984 it has earned a reputation as a leader in providing innovative programs and quality care while striving to incorporate technological changes. ERH Community & Auxiliary Volunteers support the delivery of quality health care and are highly valued members of the health care team.
Fellburn Care Centre
Fellburn Care Centre (FCC) is a 110 bed extended care facility. FCC’s volunteers support the delivery of health care and are highly valued members of the health care team.
Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre
The new Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre will be a leading facility in the delivery of outpatient services. This centre will provide a full range of services from day surgery and diagnostic services to specialized health clinics. This exciting new facility will provide many opportunities for community members to get involved and volunteer.
Langley Memorial Hospital
Langley Memorial Hospital has 182 acute-beds and 230 residential care beds. In addition to acute care, maternity, geriatric, critical care, emergency care and psychiatric services, the hospital has an occupational therapy department, physiotherapy department, ambulatory care, social work and pharmacy services.
Langley Memorial Hospital Residential Services
Four residential care units are situated on the grounds of the Langley Memorial Hospital. There are three separate buildings: Cedar Hill Center, Maple Hill Center and Rosewood/Marwood Center which provide home-like care for approximately 200 residents. Residents receive 24 hour nursing care and ongoing medical supervision. Volunteers are an important part of the health care team ensuring the highest quality of like for the residents in care.
Peace Arch Hospital and Auxiliary Society
Peace Arch Hospital, built in 1954, provides acute and residential care health services to the White Rock-South Surrey area. We offer around the clock emergency services, surgical programs, maternity care, laboratory services, medical imaging, and outpatient clinics. Volunteer opportunities are available in many of these departments.
Queen's Park Care Centre
In 1977, Queen's Park Care Centre opened its doors with a special emphasis on long term care within a residential care environment. Today, over three decades later, Queen’s Park Care Centre continues to provide compassionate care (and new programs) for the aging population and persons with disabilities.
Ridge Meadows Hospital & Health Care Centre
Ridge Meadows Hospital (RMH) is a critical community asset, one in which we have a stake. RMH provides acute care services and complex care to over 80,000 residents of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. When residents experience a medical emergency or issue – no matter what time of day or night – quality medical care is available, close to home.
Royal Columbian Hospital
Royal Columbian Hospital is one of three referral hospitals at Fraser Health and an acute/tertiary care teaching facility. It is renowned and respected for its fast-paced, leading edge environment and specializes in trauma, cardiology, neurosciences, pediatrics and high-risk obstetrics.
Surrey Memorial Hospital
Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) is the largest hospital in Fraser Health and it provides services for one of Canada’s fastest growing and most diverse municipalities. SMH has a large force of Community & Auxiliary Volunteers who support the delivery of quality health care and are highly valued members of the health care team.
