A creative new food safety campaign, www.ruhotenuf.ca, has been unveiled this month with an important message for British Columbians: Use a digital meat and fridge thermometer at home to avoid food poisoning! Hundreds of thousands of people in BC suffer from food poisoning every year. Food poisoning, which is especially dangerous to young children, is commonly caused by undercooked meat, and under-chilled food, both of which can be avoided. The campaign is taking this message to the people, with the help of a superhero, some great prizes to be won, and the voice of celebrity chef, Chuck Currie. Learn more
