Contact | Access to subsidized assisted living units is through a Home Health assessment. For more information on subsidized units, contact the local Home Health office nearest you. Please do not contact the Operator directly regarding subsidized units. For information on market units, please refer to the Seniors Housing Information Program (SHIP) directory. |
Building amenities | We serve two meals and a morning and afternoon snack daily. Housekeeping and laundering of bed linens is provided. |
Language, culture, religious affiliations | English is spoken; religious affiliation is Mennonite Brethren. |
Type of accommodation | 88 publicly subsidized units. Each unit has a two-burner counter top stove and refrigerator. Residents provide their own furnishings. |
Cost | Residents pay 70% of their after-tax income which covers: 1) monthly rental accommodation; 2) hospitality services: two meals and two snacks daily, weekly housekeeping, flat laundry, etc.; 3) personal care; and 4) on-site emergency response system. Residents on income assistance pay a flat rate. Items not included as part of the monthly fee include: telephone, cable, hydro, personal laundry, household and toiletry supplies, medications, personal care products and insurance. |

Accessibility | Residents must be able to move around in their own apartment with or without the use of mobility aids. Electric wheelchairs designed for indoor use may be permitted with pre-approval of the Executive Director. Motorized scooter storage is available, but scooters are not permitted on main floors. |
