Opioid Agonist Treatment


Opioid agonist treatment is an evidence-based treatment delivered in a supervised clinical setting that uses medications such as suboxone or methadone to stabilize a person who is addicted to substances and significantly reduce harms associated with opioid use.

What services do we provide?

We supply individuals who use opioids with a replacement drug, medications like suboxone and methadone, which is administered orally in our supervised clinical settings. Individuals who receive treatment also have access to:

  • Medical and counselling services
  • Referrals for housing and other supports
  • Referrals to additional treatment

Who can access these services?

Individuals who are addicted to opioid drugs such as heroin, oxycodone, hydromorphone and fentanyl.
