Building amenities | Limited double rooms are available as the majority of the rooms are single occupancy. Our nutrition department respects diet requests. |
Language, culture, religious affiliations | Community clergy provide Sunday church services. Catholic mass is offered on the first Wednesday of the month; volunteers bring less independent resident to and from the unit where the mass is held. The staff helps to create a culturally diverse and comfortable environment for everyone. |

Philosophy of care | Our team of health care professionals provides care to the residents living in Baillie House and Park Place. We maintain the physical, psychological, cognitive, social and spiritual well-being of each resident. Team members assist you and your family by answering your questions and discussing your needs. Cost | Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. |

Accessibility | We can accommodate motorized scooters and wheelchairs provided the resident has demonstrated safe operation to our Occupational Therapists. We are fully wheelchair accessible and are elevator-equipped for service to the other floors. |
Pet policy | Visiting family pets are welcome after a screening procedure by recreation staff. Pets must be on leash and be supervised by their owners at all times. Vaccinations must be current. A pet visitation program managed by our volunteer services coordinates Code K-9, partnering volunteers and their dogs for regular visits. We have resident cats, birds and fish. |
Smoking policy | Baillie House and Park Place are smoke-free environments. After passing a safety assessment, smoking is permitted in designated, outside areas only. |
Safety/security features | Indoor and grounds security, parking and electrical outlets for wheelchairs/scooters, lighted ground and street parking. |
