Keep your baby's teeth healthy

Begin dental care early with good prenatal dental health. Here are some tips to keep your baby's teeth healthy: - Brush baby’s teeth twice a day with a smear of fluoride toothpaste as soon as the teeth appear.
- Introduce a cup between six and 12 months of age to prevent a bottle habit. Tooth decay can be caused by sipping continuously on sugary liquids throughout the day or night.
- Schedule meals and snacks. Offer milk and juice at meal times, water the rest of the day.
- Visit the dentist six months after the first tooth appears or by their first birthday.
