School Health Nurses

Public Health Nurses work to:

prevent diseases and injury
help to support those who have health concerns

Public Health Nurse priorities with school-aged children:

Consultation with staff, students, and families for students with medical alert conditions or requiring medication in school
Provision of educational resources to promote health and safety

The public health nurse accepts referrals from staff, parents, and students. To make a referral to a public health nurse, please complete a Referral to School Nurse form.
