Nursing Support Service

  • Teach caregivers how to provide special health related care for a specific child 
  • Provide direct care when necessary
  • Are free for children and youth (0-19 years)
  • Eligiblity is based on a nursing assessment done by an NSS coordinator

Nursing Support Services
The Nursing Support Services program assists parents and caregivers to help children with special health care needs (birth to age 19) lead active, healthy lives in their communities.

At Home program
The At Home Program is intended to assist parents with some of the extraordinary costs of caring for a child with severe disabilties at home.
