Ambulatory

The Ambulatory Outpatient Department is an outpatient facility where you will be seen if you have a pre-booked appointment with a specific specialist.   You will come in to hospital, see the doctor, and then go home.

It is very important that you know which doctor specifically you will be seeing as the Ambulatory Outpatient Department typically has a large number of patients visiting each day. 

Make sure to bring your BC Care Card to your appointment to further ensure safety and confidentiality.

Your physician's office can provide more detailed  information that is specific to you and your reason for visit.
