Royal Columbian Hospital is one of three regional hospitals in Fraser Health offering primary, secondary and tertiary services, which include 24/7 emergency, outpatient, ambulatory care and a range of inpatient services.

As a regional hospital, Royal Columbian Hospital provides mostly referral services in a variety of medical and surgical specialties such as mental health and substance use, internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, plastic surgeries and a very well established maternal, infant, child/youth program offering levels one, two and three obstetrical care, levels one and two nursery, neonatal intensive care, and paediatric inpatient service.

In addition, Royal Columbian Hospital also provides a number of highly specialized acute care services such as tertiary trauma, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology and thoracic surgery that often require the care of multiple medical specialists, multidisciplinary care teams and the use of specialized equipment and technology.

  • Cafeteria serves entrées, sandwiches and coffee (Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; weekends, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; holidays, 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Open visiting hours, but please be considerate of other patients who may need rest.

If you are not feeling well, or have been exposed to an infectious illness, please do not visit.

Please note: the 24-hour rate is only valid in the Royal Columbian Hospital Home and Community Care parkade and not in the Mental Health and Substance Use parkade. All other Mental Health and Substance Use parking rates are the same as Home and Community Care rates.
