Supporting the Mission community with accessible care, strong local connections and services designed for the people who live here.
Getting care in Mission
Mission is experiencing growth in both community need and service capacity. Construction is currently underway on an $18-million expansion of the Mission Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, which will provide people living in Mission with a larger and more modern emergency department.
Access to innovations such as AI-supported colonoscopy is enhancing diagnostic services and supporting earlier detection and improved outcomes for patients.
Community food initiatives are also advancing patient-centred care by supporting patients’ nutritional needs during their hospital stay, recognizing the important role nutrition plays in recovery and overall health. These efforts are helping to strengthen services as the community continues to grow.
