Get protection from measles, mumps and rubella

MMR is the vaccine that protects against measles, mumps, and rubella. All individuals born after January 1, 1970 (January 1, 1957 for health care workers) require 2 doses of MMR vaccine. There is no charge for the vaccination.

Getting vaccinated

You can get vaccinated by booking an appointment by

  • Contacting your family physician
  • Contacting your local immunizing pharmacist (for people over the age of 5)
  • Contacting your local public health unit
  • or by attending a Fraser Health vaccination clinic
Anyone attending the clinics or receiving a vaccination should also bring their BC Care Card.

For children under 5Public Health clinics for measles vaccinations have been confirmed for the following dates / times. Clinics for children aged 1-5 are listed below and are by appointment only. People over 5 requiring the measles vaccine can speak to their physician, local pharmacist, local public health unit, or attend a general vaccination clinic.
