Our board of directors provides the governance and vision for Fraser Health. It works with the senior executive team to establish overall direction, review long-term plans and ensure appropriate community consultation.

Board members are appointed for two-year terms by the provincial government's Crown Agencies and Board Resourcing Office.

Can I attend board meetings?
Our Board of Directors hold meetings for the public that include formal and informal discussions with the community either in-person or virtually. Public Board Meetings are open to any member of the public.

When are the public meetings held?
Public board meetings are usually held three times a year in the fall, winter and spring, in various locations throughout the area we serve. All meetings will be listed in advance here and on our events calendar.

Willie Charlie is an active member of the First Nations Health Council, Aboriginal Health Steering Committee, Aboriginal Advisory Committee for RCMP, the BC Hydro Integrated Resource Planning Committee and the Cultural Committee for the University of the Fraser Valley.

Board MemberAnita Kaur Atwal is an experienced labour, employment and human rights lawyer, who now practices exclusively in the area of workplace investigations, mediations, equity and inclusion.

Board MemberLee Loftus has extensive governance and leadership experience in the B.C. construction sector, as well as in community, labour and business environments, spanning over four decades.

Board MemberHarinder (Harry Sadhra) has over 20 years of executive level experience in financial, distribution, HR, operational and corporate governance.
