Volunteers are important members of the health care team. They offer service and support to our patients, families and visitors, while enhancing patient care and the overall experience at Delta Hospital and Mountain View Manor.

Requirements
Volunteers must meet the following requirements to be a successful candidate:
- Minimum age: 19 years for adult programs, 16 years for Summer Youth Program July/Aug 2025 and VolunTEENs Jan -June 2026
- Minimum commitment of six months
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)

- Weekday In person interview

Onboarding process
- Criminal record check
- Two written reference letters to be provided
- Relevant online learning provided through learning hub
- In person weekday orientation (scheduled monthly)
- Buddy training session to train in role specific duties
